The last work of Marion Cotillard it is not a movie but a short video for renowned Fashion Brand Dior. It is called Snapshot in LA where we can see the Oscar-winning actress looking impressive, moving and dancing in style close to a swimming pool. 

This ad is included in a series of short videos for DIOR. What is more, she also sings as we have realised in the past, she is a good singer. In fact, her most popular movie to date, the one she gave her an Oscar was La Vie en Rose where she rendered a superb performance acting as French Star Edith Piaf. 2015 Pirelli Calendar

Only the best models do appear in Pirelli Calendar, only a selective group of people do receive it and only  therein can you see such impressive photographs. Supermodels tend to render a special picture. Angels of Victoria´s Secret

Once we have presented and talked about each angel of Victoria´s Secret we are to finish this special about VS Angels giving a brief outline to complete the latest posts about Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Doutzen Kroes, Alessandra Ambrosio, Karlie Kross, Lindsay Ellingson, Adriana Lima and Behati Prinsloo.

Angels of Victoria´s Secret

In 1995 Victoria´s Secret Fashion Show was created but it was no until 2001 the Show appeared in television. Being an Angel of Victoria´s Secret is a prestigious title. Now and in the past only a few lucky supermodels have been selected to wear the wings at Victoria´s Secret Fashion Show. The models who have worn the special bra on more than one occasion are Karolina Kurkova, Adriana Lima, Gisele Bündchen and Tyra Banks (and now Alessandra Ambrosio.) The model who worn it on 3 occasions was Heidi Klum (and now Adriana Lima), the model who worn the most expensive special bra ever was Giselle Bundchen. (More than 12 million dollars was valued). There are more or less 40 models who appear in Victoria´s Secret Show, only 8 are supermodels while the rest only work for the brand that day or perhaps they work for other VS Brand named Pink aimed at teenagers and University Students. Similarly, there are other supermodels who do not appear on the show but work for the brand all year long, in fact, VS has 8 angels and 11 supermodels.

In her teens she was a ballet dancer and now a supermodel and a big star of Victoria´s Secret. It has been said Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio are to leave the brand (Miranda Kerr did it not long ago) Candice Swanepoel would be the most visible angel of Victoria´s Secret as a result, in fact, despite being 26, she wore the special bra last year and she is a VS angel since 2008 and has appeared regularly in Victoria´s Secret Fashion Shows, she only needed one year to become an Angel.

Lindsay Ellingson-shy yet spectacular angel of Victoria´s Secret

She is not as famous as other Victoria´s Secret Angels, she does not have a so known private life as other models tend to promote but Lindsay Ellingson has gained Victoria´s Secret Angel status deservedly because of her impressive look and measurements that are almost perfect. This Californian model is one of the 12 supermodels of Victoria´s Secret and one of its 8 angels. She entered Victoria´s Secret in 2009 and she is a  VS angel since 2011. Her goal was no to be a model, she was studying Biology at University when she was persuaded to try a fashion career, she moved to Paris and John Galiano mentored her becoming a supermodel nowadays. Victoria´s Secret tend to choose her a spokesperson, her kindness in front of a camera and starring public meetings give her a special charm, perhaps being not so famous is something good after all. Diet of Adriana Lima, eternal angel of Victoria´s Secret

What is the secret of Supermodel Adriana Lima? How has she achieved Victoria´s Secret Angel status for so long?. Amongst her favourite sports, Adriana Lima practises boxing, capoeira and running. If Alessandra Ambrosio only needed 3 months to look perfect after having given birth, Adriana Lima only needed 2 months. As a matter of fact, Adriana Lima means Victoria´s Secret Fashion Show, accordingly, she has opened the show 5 times, she has worn the special bra three times (counting 2014 year) and she is an angel since 2000, a milestone, she has only missed one  VSFS since she is an angel and because of being pregnant.

Regarding her personal life, Adriana Lima is Catholic, it is said she attends Church every Sunday and before appearing in the VS Fashion Show is normal to see her crossing herself. She assures she was a Virgin until her wedding, she was married to Serbian basketball player Marco Jaric from 2009 to 2014 with whom she has two children. However, the marriage is now broken. Alessandra Ambrosio-Brazilian Angel of Victoria´s Secret.

Alessandra Ambrosio is one of the most important models of the fashion industry and one of the most recognizable faces of Victoria´s Secret to which she is working since 2014, she started representing VS label Pink and the following year she entered the show of Victoria´s Secret for the first time. Alessandra Ambrosio has some curious records as she wore a special outfit  entirely made of candy, besides, she also wore the heaviest wings ever made.

Only 3 months after giving birth for the  first time she apperead in Victoria´s Secret Fashion Show. Similarly, she wore the special bra in 2012 (it is said she was pregnant for the second time when wearing such outfit as well). She has also been in charge of opening the show. Alessandra Ambrosio is very powerful earning more than 6 million dolars per year modelling.

What is very strange about this Brazilian model is that she had her ears reduced as she was ashamed of them at the beginning of her career, something she wholly regrets, she swears  she is not to have plastic surgery again as it is not worthy nor comfortable. Alessandra Ambrosio has appeared in television and movies, she was in Television series Entourage and How I met your mother or in the movie Casino Royale. In 2014 she is to be again one of the stars, apart from being one of the most special Victoria´s Secret Angels she is to wear the special bra again, this time with Adriana Lima. Doutzen Kroes-An European Angel for Victoria´s Secret

The first thing Doutzen Kroes does when a Victoria´s Secret Fashion show is over is to eat French Fries as she has to concentrate heavily on being fit to look perfect within the show, something she expressed in the past. The Dutch model is an expert on The Shows of Victoria´s Secret. Indeed, since 2005 she has been in all of them (2007 aside). I thought she was not going to participate this year as she announced last winter she was expecting her second child, yet she is to participate one more time because she had her new baby at the end of August. Seeing how Victoria´s Secret Angels are able to recover their figure after having become mothers it is scarcely a surprise she is to wear the wings again.

By the way, some of the models hired to be in the Show this year have expressed the good news on Social Media, these include Shanina Shaik, Josephine Skriver, Devon Windsor, Eniko Mihalik, Elsa Hosk y Kelly Gale. There are others who are expected as well even though they have not said anything about it so open as yet. Lily Donaldson, Jessica Hart, Maryna Linchuk, Jourdan Dunn o Izabel Goulart tend to appear and they will probably repeat this year.

Focusing on Doutzen Kroes, the protagonist of this story was selected as the best model in 2005 according to Vogue readers and she is one of the models who earns more money with more than 7 million dollars per year modelling, as a result,  she is one of the most powerful models of this industry thus Fashion Brands do trust in her a lot. Doutzen Kroes is a Victoria´s Secret Model since 2008 and she started working for Victoria´s Secret in 2004. One of her virtues is her figure, her body is far from the extreme sliminess others models own and her modelling is valued in consequence.

We could say Behati Prinsloo is the most exotic Victoria´s Secret Angel in the sense she is from Namibia within the African continent. Candice Swanepoel is also from Africa but South Africa is somewhat more known and international than Namibia that scarcely appears on Mass Media. They two are big friends as they speak Afrikaans a language related to Dutch that was introduced by some Europeans who arrived to some parts of Africa. Besides, Behati Prinsloo is married to  one of the greatest idols of current music, the leader of Maroon 5 band, Adam Levine. It is funny  because Maroon 5 did participate in Victoria´s Secret Fashion Show in 2011 but at this time Adam Levine was in a relationship with another Model, Anne Vyalitsyna, who appeared on the Show, they fulfilled one of the most romantic moments of that Show and of any other Victoria´s Secret Fashion Show as you can discover right now.

It does no matter how in love the Russian model and the pop singer seemed then as soon thereafter they broke up. Adam Levine started dating Behati Prinsloo with whom he got married in July, 2014. The Namibian model was signed by Victoria´s Secret in 2008 and since 2009 she is an Angel too

Karlie Kloss is the newest Victoria´s Secret Angel, she made her debut in 2011 inside a contest to appoint a new model, in 2012 she was on the show as a professional model for the first time, that year a controversy took place, Karlie Kloss clad in Indian costumes made the Indian Community to get angry in USA, they demanded Victoria´s Secret to pay respect to them in a more formal way. They felt overly insulted.

Born in Chicago albeit raised in St. Louis, Karlie Kloss is very tall, she is one of the young models with a brighter future. Fashion experts consider her one of the best models of these days thanks to her unique way of walking and posing, famous fashions designers and the most important brands want to hire her, Karlie Kloss has worked with the best having walked on the best catwalks as well, she is also the muse of John Galliano and apart from having being on the cover of the best publications she is the image of Nike, L'oreal,, Christian Dior, Donna Karan, Chanel o Gautier for instance. Her agenda is full of projects and she is widely required. Karlie Kloss has been selected as one of the best 30 models of the first 10 years of this new century according to Vogue. Nonetheless, she is not so successful to the fans of Victoria´s Secret and fanatics of this brand because many do not consider her to deserve the title of VS Angel. In my opinion, her biggest problem is to be compared to Miranda Kerr, she replaced her yet Miranda Kerr is one of he best models ever thus Karlie Kloss has a big problem if she is to be compared to the Aussie supermodel.

Karlie Kloss belongs to a new generation of models, alongside Jourdan Dunn or Cara Delevingne (they are close friends and are always making videos or working together in different projects) are called to be the next supermodels who will rule the industry of fashion in he next years. Even though Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn are not Victoria´s Secret Angels they tend to appear on the annual Victoria´s Secret Fashion Show
